Lameness and Pre Purchase Exam

Our Pre Purchase examination is a full physical examination and full lameness examination. With our digital radiography and ultrasound further diagnostics can be performed right on the farm with immediate answers. Our pre purchase examinations are designed to give the prospective buyer information necessary about the horse to make an informed decision on their purchase.

Our lameness exams are very thorough and are appropriate for horses that are slightly “off” in their perfomance all the way to the severely lame horse. We have full capability to diagnose via local nerve blocks, digital radiography and ultrasound. With the immediate results from the diagnostics we have available, we can often start treatment immediately on the farm on the same call. In addition, we have the capability of integrating chiropractic care into the slightly “off” or injured performance horse, thus enhancing the overall wellness program.
